The job

You will join the development team at UbiOps as Software Engineer, actively contributing to the design, development, maintenance and support of our UbiOps platform. Together with a young and enthusiastic team of experienced developers you will be working on the core of UbiOps. You will be using the latest technologies to continue building a secure, robust and cutting-edge platform for helping our customers run, scale and orchestrate their AI & ML applications on any infrastructure.

Some technologies and platforms in use at UbiOps are Python, Go, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Google Cloud and Gitlab.

You and your team members are part of an agile and multidisciplinary team of experienced software developers, UX/UI designers, data scientists, product managers and customer success specialists, giving you plenty of opportunities to grow and explore new technologies. On a daily basis, you will interact frequently with the front-end team to align on features, API functionality and product improvements.

Your profile

Completed Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or similar
Hands-on experience with developing, testing and supporting production grade software
The ability to independently deliver clean, tested and documented code.
Familiarity with a microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
Experience with cloud computing services and concepts (GCP, AWS or Azure)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and memory data stores (Redis)
Experience with developing in Go is a plus
Affinity with big data and data science concepts is a plus
Curious, resourceful and a quick learner. You enjoy experimenting and won’t give up easily!
Strong communication and team-player abilities
Professional proficiency in English

Als Software Engineer bij UbiOps draagt je bij aan het ontwerp, de ontwikkeling, het onderhoud en de ondersteuning van ons UbiOps-platform. Samen met getalenteerd en enthousiast team van developers werk je aan de kern van UbiOps. Je gebruikt de nieuwste technologieën om verder te bouwen aan een veilig, robuust en geavanceerd platform waarmee we onze klanten helpen hun AI- en ML-applicaties te draaien, te schalen en te orkestreren op elke infrastructuur.

Enkele van de technologieën en platformen die bij UbiOps worden gebruikt, zijn Python, Go, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Google Cloud en Gitlab.

Je maakt samen met je teamleden deel uit van een agile en multidisciplinair team van ervaren softwareontwikkelaars, UX/UI-designers, datawetenschappers, productmanagers en customer success specialisten. Je krijgt volop mogelijkheden om te groeien en nieuwe technologieën te verkennen. Je werkt dagelijks nauw samen met het front-end team om functies, API-functionaliteit en productverbeteringen af te stemmen.

Jouw profiel

Afgeronde bachelor- of masteropleiding informatica of vergelijkbaar
Ervaring met het ontwikkelen, testen en ondersteunen van productiesoftware
Het vermogen om zelfstandig schone, geteste en gedocumenteerde code te leveren
Kennis van een microservicesarchitectuur en RESTful API's
Ervaring met cloudcomputingservices en -concepten (GCP, AWS of Azure)
Ervaring met Docker en Kubernetes
Ervaring met SQL-databases (PostgreSQL) en geheugenopslag (Redis)
Ervaring met ontwikkelen in Go is een pré
Ervaring met OpenShift is een pré
